Mother Uses Makeup To Conceal Dead Child's Injuries

A 22 year-old mother in Utah attempted to conceal the injuries of her dead child, who fell at the hands of her 25 year-old father. The two were arrested on July 6th on suspicion of murder of their daughter.

The father had allegedly been abusing the child for some time. The girl was found by law enforcement unconsciousand not breathing, dying a short time afterwards. A veneer of some residue which was concluded later to be makeup was applied by the mother so that the injuries wouldn't appear as bad as they truly were. The two are awaiting charges and are currently being held.

Newly Married Groom Arrested Over Fireworks Display At Wedding

A newlywed husband in Massapequa, New York, was arrested at his wedding for an illegal fireworks show. The display was rather large, disturbing the locals no doubt. Law enforcement arrived and arrested the 39-year old whose bond was set at $5,000. 

Mother Leaves Children in Trunk

A woman, Tori Lee Castillo, was detained in Utah for locking her two children; a 2 year-old and a 5 year-old, in the trunk of her car according to police. Several passers by noticed the vehicle moving despite their appearing to be no one present. The movement were from the children trying to get people's attention. The shoppers helped the children escape by instructing them how to use the emergency latch in the trunk.

The woman faces child abuse charges and the children are now under the watch of Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services.
